The Indian Bird Videos Project

While travel blogging happens , we do something apart from that – Indian Bird Videos. We started a Youtube channel by the name “ Indian Bird Videos” and started uploading different species of birds found in India.

There are more than 1300 species of birds that are found in India and for much of them there is hardly any video online. Over the years we have accumulated these videos during our birding trips and we are using Youtube platform to share those beautiful moments to create awareness about birds. Many people whom we met often associate beautiful birds to something that belongs to other countries. While some birds do migrate to India from abroad , majority of birds stay with us year round. Birds like oriole are a visual delight but are found even in the middle of a city. We hope that , people could see the Indian birds and take pride in the diversity that surrounds us. Our primary aim is to create awareness among people in the hope that they will raise their voice for the protection of these winged beauties.

It is currently the largest collection in terms of different species and we have started capturing bird sounds as well. We hope this collection to be educative in nature for the Indian Kids.
