We were heading home from kodaikanal after 6 months, when crossing Madurai suddenly we decided to take a diversion and go to rameswaram. Rameswaram is around 3.30 hrs from Madurai, so we thought to reach there to see the sunset. Its’ damn hot and the bad roads didn’t make the drive fun. Nearing Rameswaram, everywhere palm trees and brahminy kites flying around. Paying Rs.100 entry fee, we entered Rameswaram.
